today, see my waste-basket ( I forgot to put a placcy bag in before I started work - you know how it is). Anyway, there I was, putting my earrings in this morning, when woops, I fumbled and one tiny stud fell into this mess ! I did find it in the end, but it took a lot of sorting through all that muddle to retrieve it !
Ta-da ! One precious (to me) stud - one of the set I wear almost every day !
Note to self,
Now on to more sewing related stuff.
Today is link-up day for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge, and while sorting through my bag of horror, known as scraps, I found a couple of orphans from way back - very rough and ready but I do like the colours together so shall tidy them up into a pot holder, they're not really accurate enough for anything fancy but I am constantly using pot holders in my kitchen and figure that you can't have too many.
I've also been making a few granny squares for the Siblings Together project here in UK - discovered, like several other people, that I really like making them. I may continue intermittantly with these, I have two that finished too small for the project but I can more easily make others that size rather than the prescribed one.

Cute granny squares - especially the fussy-cut Dalmatian center!
Your granny squares are cute! Love the fussy-cut middles.
Good neutral scraps going on there. I really like the last set of blocks.
I have been seeing these granny squares pop up all over blog land and they are fabulous.
Love your granny squares! and great going with your neutrals! I'm still cutting mine but what I'll do with them remains to be decided, LOL.. placcy bag... it's been a while since I heard that expression ;)
